### Disciple's Pass

Village Outskirts
1.1 | After the prologue in Forlorn Village where you commune with the Undermether, you will have obtained The Iconoclast and Harros . Ruk, an absurdly large raven, will urge you to continue. Proceed through the area where Ruk stands and obtain Upgrade Materials such as Gold and Ventrium as you go through.
1.2 | After the initial area, you will come upon the first Beacon of the game. Immediately cleanse this as it will give you the Muradean Actuator , which allows you to upgrade your weapons! Continue going forward until you have to defeat the Gloombound Ritualist , which allows you to practice Shell Abilities.
1.3 | You will then reach a bridge area, where you will have to fight against an ironclad knight with a glaive. Before getting off the bridge, you can drop down just at the farther left of it to challenge the Tainted Visage boss.
Disciple's Grotto
1.4 | Proceed through the cave-like area and get the extra Gloom hidden behind the boxes. Activate the Beacon and cleanse it for some additional loot, and then head to the left to enter Garrick's Den for more gold. After that, head to the open area, where you will be tested to try out the game's Perfect Guard system. If you take some damage after this fight, return to the Beacon and rest, as there will be a powerful boss coming next.
1.5 | Upon reaching this part, Ruk will warn the player of danger. Proceed through and then grab the Torch. Upon doing so, it will awaken the Tar Golem , which will prompt a scripted boss fight. While defeating it will not yield any significant result, difference, or reward, you will still obtain the Finish the Fight achievement upon doing so!
1.6 | After this, ascend the elevator and collect the Ovum. You will then go through an opening sequence of the game until you reach Morrow's Keep, which is your main hub. Before entering, get the extra Chalice on the left side of the entrance for an extra means of Gold. After that, talk to each of the NPCs such as Franz, Vratko, Merrick, and Milos to start their quest lines!

### Fainweald

Widow's Overlook
2.1 | As soon as you reach Widow's Overlook, proceed to the left and finish the trial. After that, go to where the croaking sound is coming from to encounter Gorf . Give him a Weltcap , which can be found on a nearby tree, to obtain a Marsh Pearl. Do note that you will have to revisit Gorf multiple times in the early stages of the game, up to four times, to progress his questline, wherein he will move somewhere beyond Blackridge.
2.2 | Proceed to go back to the right, just near the area of the Great Arbiter of Flesh . It is not recommended to fight this boss as soon as you get here, so proceed down the descending path to first obtain the map and Tiel . After obtaining the map, claiming Tiel, and finishing the Ritual Grounds, only then is it recommended to face the Great Arbiter of Flesh for its prize and unlock Night Mode. After that, enter the Martyr's Tomb to get the Parasitic Stone . ▶︎ Widow's Overlook 100% Walkthrough
Mushroom Village
3.1 | Upon entering the village, there will be Babkas dancing in the center of the village. Defeat them, then talk to each of the four villagers in each house for extra dialogue. After that, cleanse the Beacon just beyond the center to unlock the fast travel area to this location. After that, light all three candles to open the chest for an Auspicious Stone .
3.2 | Starting from the Beacon, head straight to the right and cross the bridge, where a congregation of Babkas is dancing around a pyre. After clearing them, position yourself facing the cliffside through the misplaced gateway . This will spawn a statue that contains the Chapel Key . Before moving on, break the debris blocking the bridge to a lone tree, which contains a portal during the night.
3.3 | To use the Chapel Key, go back to the Beacon and head to the left to enter through an opening. You will be met with non-hostile traders. Buy their full inventory, especially the Cage Key, and set the Grisha Pup free to enable the questline regarding its mother. Move on to the locked door just behind the cage for the Chapel Key, and then finish the Shrine of Trials dungeon to get the Axe and Dagger !
3.4 | Finishing the Hall of Illusions , return to the Beacon and head right. Instead of going to the Pyre, go through the length of effigies and defeat the Cultist Spear Lady. Just beyond that will be a Necrite, which is vulnerable to Heavy Attacks. After that, go right and ascend the slope. There should be an enemy there that is defending a Coin of Mammon and Effigies.
3.5 | Go back to where the Necrite is, and then cross the bridge on the left to start the Hilga and Grom questline and heal by interacting with the cauldron, then cross the bridge to reach a trial. Complete said trial to obtain materials, and then clear the enemies around the chest that contains the Marksman Stone . After getting the Marksman Stone, go straight to the Mushroom Village Gate Beacon to set another respawn point and cleanse it, then we recommend clearing the corrupted Glutted Mire gate. ▶︎ Mushroom Village 100% Walkthrough ▶︎ Jump to the Glutted Mire Section
Blackridge Cliffs
5.1 | After completing the Glutted Mire gate and some decent upgrades, make your way back to the Widow's Overlook beacon, and head to the left beyond Gorf's location. Keep pushing through until you reach the Blackridge Pass beacon, and cleanse it to obtain an Ovum and some extra gold. Backtrack just before the bridge, and head down the bridge adjacent to it. Upon going down, grab the map, and then head further down to clear the Flooded Village and get the Forgotten Crossbow .
5.2 | Go back to the Blackridge Pass beacon, and then scale the ramp. There should be an ongoing fight between a Tarred Vistage and some brigands. After clearing them out, head to the dungeon on the right called Coward's Retreat , which gives you some extra gold. After clearing out Coward's Retreat, we recommend going to the Shattered Beacon to get Proxima , but there should be an Infested Stalker guarding it.
5.3 | After getting Proxima from the Shattered Beacon, enter the Crumbling Tunnel to get a map of the Triarch Repeater , which you will get later in the game. Exit the dungeon, and then head straight to the left of the picture above. This should allow you to drop down and enter the King's Crypt to get the Veteran's Battleaxe . Do note that this dungeon is laced with traps in each corner. After that, use the geyser to get back to where you came from, then head straight to the right of the image above to get materials for upgrades. You can also drop down at this point and defeat the Bell Snail. There should be a spot there that contains extra gloom! After that, return to the image above, and go straight beyond the shattered beacon. You should be met with a corrupted area with two Infested Stalkers. Prevailing here should allow you to access the Stones of Remembrance area. ▶︎ Blackridge Cliffs 100% Completion Guide
Stones of Remembrance
6.1 | Upon entering the Stones of Remembrance area, we recommend going straight to the left and clearing out both the Hunched Back and Neophyte Sester. After doing so, open the chest to gain a Gloombound Stone , allowing for better farming when struggling.
6.2 | After that, you can follow the video above to find all the Golden Tombstones, which unlocks the chapel that contains the Feeding Grounds dungeon. Completing this dungeon should reward you with the Myriad Stone , which significantly upgrades the Forgotten Crossbow!
6.3 | Proceed further down to the right after the chapel, and then make a left to ascend a slope. This area should contain the Broodshell Swarm , which is a group of mobs that serve as a boss. Upon defeating them, enter the area they were guarding and get the Justiciar's Stone, which increases the amount of Gold you gain from drops.
6.4 | This walkthrough will skip the optional content of the full area , but we guarantee that you will not be missing much. However, we do recommend completing Grisha's Hunting Grounds since it rewards a Revered Gland for more healing, as well as the trial in the crater since it rewards the Unyielding Stone . After exploring on your own, we recommend entering the camp on the left after finishing the Broodshell Swarm, and then follow the wooden bridges until you reach the broken-down building with a bunch of enemies you have to clear.
6.5 | After clearing the enemies, first head straight to clear the Overrun Quarry for an additional 2000 gold . Do not drop down, as you can access the upgrade material later on. Head back, and then continue straight into the gateway. Make sure not to press on the glowing pouch , or you will be teleported to the Citadel of Penance. If you did, it is recommended to activate the nearby beacon and teleport back. ▶︎ Stones of Remembrance 100% Completion Guide

### Glutted Mire

Seeping Mire
4.1 | As soon as you enter the Glutted Mire, you will have to descend a flight of stairs laced with traps. Make sure to check and remove the tripwires to avoid being pelted by arrows until you come across the Wortbinder Witch. After defeating the Wortbinder Witch, ascend the stairs and defeat the Shield Brigands to enter the Sunken Village.
Sunken Village
4.2 | As soon as you defeat the Batushka defending the gate, enter the village and kill all the enemies present in the area. After that, light the three candles indicated above to open the chest hidden behind a mushroom tree to get the Siegebreaker's Stone.
4.3 | After opening the offering chest, you will have to fight against the Caerinid, who is deadly both at close and far range. Defeating it should reward you with easy access to the Beacon beyond the gate, which, upon being cleansed, gives an Ovum. Do not forget the extra Ventrium just on the farther side!
4.4 | Cross the bridge until you reach the point where you are fighting against a Leechtongue. After clearing the area, we recommend going to the right side first. Proceed on through while being cautious of the poisonous explosions, and you should reach an area with two Leechtongues. Upon defeating them, you can safely open the chest that contains the Shrike Stone , giving either your Iconoclast or Axatana an exclusive ability.
4.5 | Return to the previous area before the bridge was crossed, and then go to the left area. Proceed until you reach the Beacon there, and then cleanse it as soon as you can to get the Corroded Stone , which is a great way to maintain DPS after shooting an enemy. After that, you will have to fight The Wandering Shepherd , which is a fight that can easily be defined if you have AoE damage or have a means to quickly burst down the main boss. Beating it should reward you with the Sheephead Totem !
Magdalena's Glade
4.6 | Upon defeating the Wandering Shepherd, you will immediately come upon a chest that holds the Etching Needles , allowing you to level up your favorite Tarstones after you install it into the Tarforge with Franz. It is recommended to level up your Harbinger, Shell, Weapons, and Tarstones because Magdalena is a challenging fight that tests your dodge reactions and spacing. After you defeat her, you will be rewarded with Magdalena's Memento , which is a Tarstone exclusive for the Axe & Dagger, as well as 12 Ovums to siphon. ▶︎ Glutted Mire 100% Completion Guide

### Sanguine Caverns

Sanguine Caverns
10.1 | Upon finishing the Citadel of Penance, retum to the initial beacon and follow the path shown in the video above to access the Sanguine Caverns corrupted gate efficiently. After that, cleanse the Stonebled Gate Beacon: The Hidden Keep, for the Serpent Stone The area itself is riddled with enemies, but only contains a select amount of notable loot, with only a Synaptic Vessel on the boxes near the entrance of the corrupted gate and the Tooth of Nocthe. The path shown goes through all of the loot locations, so grab anything shiny!
10.2 | As soon as you enter, clear the Lithopods and Infested Stalkers before going down the slope. Make sure to grab the Laterite after shooting the cocoon to avoid being damaged.
10.3 | After clearing out the camp, open the chest where the rock-throwing enemy was to get a Deadeye Stone , which is a staple for a ranged build. Drop down the opening in the middle, and then just clear out the group of enemies.
10.4 | The game will lead you on with a false sense of security by showing a beacon across the bridge, which will collapse under your weight. Be wary of the cocoons, as you will be surrounded after you fall. After clearing them out and crossing a nearby bridge, you'll reach a section where exploding bats make you fall. Just stay calm and try to shoot them with any Sidearm, preferably with fast-shooting ones like the Forgotten Crossbow . If not, dodge forward to avoid falling , and keep going until you reach a Bone Gate. Doing so should lead you back to the Pulsing Caves, which also contains the Mawbreak Cavern. Exploring and cleansing this beacon will reward you with the Blackblood Stone .
Pulsing Caves
10.5 | After cleansing the Pulsing Caves beacon, head on over to the group of Lithopods and clear them out. After doing so, jump down the ominous hole and keep on descending. Be careful since this place is riddled with exploding cocoons. Upon reaching the bottom of the hole, destroy the three cocoons and attack the stalactites to remove the illusory wall. It should contain the Mether's Flesh , which is used to get the Mango .
10.6 | After getting the Mether's Flesh , proceed on through until you reach the area with an ascending bridge. Go up said bridge for some extra Resolve before proceeding through to the next area. The next area is almost blocked off by some cocoons, so be careful if your HP is low. You will then reach the Sanguine Shoreline beacon, which houses the Hermit's Pass. Cleansing it should be pretty quick and reward you with one Ovum.
Sanguine Shoreline
10.7 | Before heading to the miniboss and the Lost Child fight, drop down to the lake and follow the video to open all of the chests and gain sellable items. After that, hop back near the beacon and use the Bone Gate to fight the Tarblighted Stoner . The fight itself is simple, but watch out for most of its explosive attacks! Defeating it should reward you with a Tarred Fragment , which is an ability for the Salvaged Trebuchaxe .
Child's Feeding Grounds
10.8 | Upon defeating the Tarblighted Stoner, jump using the fountain, and then proceed through the small crack into the boss arena of The Lost Child . It is recommended to level up your Harbinger, Shell, Weapons, and Tarstones, as this is a challenging fight which rewards proper positioning. After you defeat it, you will be rewarded with the Lost Clotstone , which is a Tarstone exclusive for the Veteran's Battleaxe and Obsidian Hammer , as well as Ovums to siphon. ▶︎ Sanguine Caverns 100% Completion Guide

### Prisoner's Domain

Prisoner's Way
14.1 | Upon entering, fight through the fodder enemies and descend the stairs. Reaching the main gate should pose you with three threats: a (1) Foul Knight, (2) Headsman, and a (3) Gloom Seeker. Clear these out, then interact with the lever to progress. You should now have entered the Prisoner's Way section. Before heading right, make your way to the left until you reach the point where you encounter another Foul Knight. After defeating it, break the boxes in the tight alleyway, then read the note for a hint to a hidden area . After that, make your way up the stairs on the right and grab the extra Resolve.
14.2 | Starting from this main courtyard, there will be two main ways to go about progression: 1. The main path that leads into the Prisoner's Pulpit Beacon. 2. An alternative path that leads to the Slumwater Drain Beacon However, before proceeding onto these paths, make sure to use the fountain to jump and defeat the Brigands for extra gold. We recommend going for the Slumwater Drain route first!
Slumwater Drain
14.3 | There are two ways to access the Slumwater Drains: (1) Find the hidden wall hinted at by a dagger symbol , or (2) break the illusory wall near the Nocteserpers. 1. Head straight for where the pillories are stationed and enter the room. There will be up to three surprise attackers, so deal with them quickly. After that, break the boxes and hit the wall with the sign, revealing it to be an illusory wall. Proceed forward, and you should enter the area. 2. Head to the left just beyond the fountain and defeat the Nocteserpers. After that, hit the wall just behind them to reveal a hidden path. Defeat the Headsman, then drop down the opening with a loose rope at the top. Following any of these paths leads you near the Slumwater Drain Beacon, located just behind a grate where you need to squeeze through.
14.4 | After cleansing the Slumwater Drain Beacon and finishing the Central Sewers to get the Ironpiercer's Stone , return to the main area and ascend the stairs. Break the shining seal to open the gate, but before proceeding, first go left upstairs and head down the long path for more loot. Go through the gateway, and then proceed until you reach a Bone Gate. This should lead you to a lift that leads you straight to the miniboss of the area: Tishina's Confessor . By this point, we recommend going back to the Prisoner's Way main hub.
Hangman's Scaffold
14.5 | Starting from the last step of Prisoner's Way, proceed further to the main gateway. You will know you are on the right path when a Gloom Seeker drops. Continue forward and quickly get away from the exploding casks that the Sublime Sisters can explode. After clearing out the area, you must break the statue using the exploding casks below it to form a bridge. There is also a refreshing Resolve tree nearby if you lack said resource to shoot.
14.6 | Climb the fallen statue, then keep going until you reach an area filled with Iron Maidens. Opening the maidens has a chance to spawn enemies, so be careful! Afterwards, exit the room, and you should see the Hangman's Scaffold Beacon, which holds the Gloomstricken Garrison , which has extra upgrade materials in store after defeating a group of enemies.
14.7 | Climb the stairs, and there should be a ranged enemy right across. Just ignore this enemy and ascend the pillar to another section with a Foul Knight. Keep proceeding until you reach a Resolve tree. Again, climb up the stairs, and enter a room with a Gloom Seeker. Initially, the bridge is hoisted, so shoot on the rope to enter the next area. Head into the area, and you should see an unreachable Sublime Sister. Avoid it and keep running until you reach the primary lift.
Executioner's Pulpit
14.8 | After using the lift, head right, and there should be a Resolve tree and Ventrium. Upon looking to the left, there will be a Knight of Mammon walking you down. Be careful moving to the right , as there is a hidden bear trap, exposing you to a high-damage roll from said enemy.
14.9 | After that, you will have reached the Executioner's Pulpit Beacon, which houses another Central Sewers . After cleansing and finishing the Central Sewers, use the Bone Gate to fight Tishina's Confessor and obtain the Confessor's Keepsake upon beating them.
Captive's End
14.10 | Upon defeating the Tishina's Confessor, use the Bone Gate, and then jump in the middle of the hole into the boss arena of the Nameless Captive . Again, it is recommended to level up your Harbinger, Shell, Weapons, and Tarstones, as this is a challenging fight which rewards continuous parrying. After you defeat it, you will be rewarded with the Captive's Scabstone , which is a Tarstone exclusive for the Great Martyr's Blade , as well as Ovums to siphon. ▶︎ Prisoner's Domain 100% Completion Guide

### Outskirts of Mammon

Outskirts of Mammon
15.1 | After finishing Prisoner's Domain, you now have finished all of what Fainweald has to offer. Go back to Marrow's Keep and go up the lift. Go towards the Bone Gate that is corrupted, and then choose the Outskirts of Mammon Upon reaching the Outskirts of Mammon, head west and clear the nearby enemy camps. Enter Smuggler's Hideout behind one of the camps to get a Coin of Mammon at the end.
15.2 | Head further west to collect the Map of Mammon 5 fragment from Ruk's statue. This unlocks the area and marks the remaining Corrupted Gates . Be careful of the bear traps scattered throughout the path leading to the map fragment!
15.3 | After getting the map fragment, continue onwards until you reach a Bone Gate. Take the Bone Gate and activate the Abandoned Outpost Beacon on the other side. This is where The Collector will appear during Night Mode and can serve as your entry point to the Deserted Slums later. ▶︎ Jump to the Deserted Slums Section
15.4 | Once you have activated the beacon, use the Bone Gate again to travel back to the area where you got the map fragment. Drop down the cliff and continue exploring the area. There will be a second Bone Gate that will take you below the outskirts' collapsing bridge Clear the normal enemies in the area and explore to collect Weltcaps , Ventriums , and the Makeshift Projectile at the edge of the cliff..
15.5 | After exploring, head to the broken bridge and shoot the tied platform to cross over. Go up and speak to Vlas on your left.
15.6 | After speaking with Vlas, head further east toward the next Bone Gate. Search the surrounding area to collect the Headsman's Stone , Weltcaps , and a Coin of Mammon . Climb up the wooden bridge leading upward until you reach a Bone Gate. Use it to move to the next zone.
15.7 | Clear the area with multiple sarcophagi, opening the interactable ones for rewards. Enter the hallway with the Faceless Clerk standing at the end. Before taking him on, hit the wall to your left to open a hidden door with an enemy waiting behind it and a chest that contains the Tyrant's Stone . Proceed toward the Faceless Clerk, but be wary of the Sester hiding behind the wall.
15.8 | Exit the hallway to your right. The nearby statue is an ambush trap containing two Stray Sesters. Defeat them to collect the coins hidden behind the statue.
15.9 | Head where the statue is pointing, and you will see a Bone Gate guarded by another Sester. Defeat the enemy and take the Bone Gate to reach the Abbey Entrance Beacon . This will serve as your waypoint toward the Sester's Refuge , but before proceeding into this area, we recommend turning back first to finish exploring the Outskirts of Mammon. ▶︎ Jump to the Sester's Refuge Section
15.10 | Teleport from the Abbey Entrance Beacon back to the Outskirts of Mammon Beacon. Head east to cleanse the Corrupted Statue for the Enfeebling Stone , and search the immediate area for Laterites and coins .
15.11 | From the Corrupted Statue, make your way down and you will see the dungeon entrance to the Hag's Pit . You can clear this dungeon to get a bunch of coins , Laterites , and Burnt Effigies .
15.12 | After clearing Hag's Pit, proceed toward the area with numerous wooden spikes. Clear all the enemies nearby and make your way toward the large broken bridge, known as the Road of Absolution .
15.13 | Traverse the bridge while watching for enemies along the way. Dodge the Knight of Mammon's roll attack to avoid being knocked off the edge, then take the Bone Gate at the end to cross over. ▶︎ Outskirts of Mammon 100% Completion Guide
Castidor's Keep
15.14 | Once across, push forward until you reach Castigator's Keep. Pass through the first gate and turn right to reach the Castigator's Keep Beacon , your checkpoint for this area.
15.15 | After activating the Castigator's Keep Beacon, you will have access and the option to explore three different areas: The Deserted Slums to the west, Sester's Refuge to the right, and the Vestige of Infinity past the Castigator's Keep gate. You can tackle these areas in any order since you want to clear them all eventually, but we recommend starting with Sester's Refuge to unlock the S-tier Shell Genessa and S-tier Axatana weapon. Move on to the Deserted Slums next, leaving the Vestige of Infinity for last as it is arguably the hardest among the three .
15.16 | From the Castigator's Keep Beacon, return to the broken bridge leading to the Road of Absolution. Drop down to the right, which will take you to an area just below the bridge. Defeat the Netopyr that appears and the nearby Grisha Hunters to reach the Blackwell Cavern dungeon.
15.17 | After clearing the dungeon, proceed toward the west side, where you will see multiple Tarblighted Miners and hanging wooden bridges. Cross the bridges until you reach the end, where you can hit an illusionary wall to reveal the Alchemist's Workshop dungeon.
15.18 | Once you have cleared the Alchemist's Workshop dungeon, make your way up the wooden bridge outside that will take you inside Castigator's Keep. You can also get the Map of Mammon there to unlock the map of the surrounding area. After opening the gate, return to the previous area before entering the courtyard, and you will see the Hall of Murmurs dungeon just past the Grisha Hunter camp.

### Sester's Refuge

16.1 | From the Abbey Entrance beacon , head up towards and activate the switch to the left to open the gate. Beware of the two speared enemies inside. You will be trapped with them until you defeat them.
16.2 | After defeating the enemies, go past the other end. There will be a red speared enemy waiting for you. After beating them, take the stairs to the left, then hop down to a geyser.
16.3 | Head into the caverns and look for stones with a yellow gleaming symbol on them. Hit these to unlock a gate at the opposite end of the cavern. Take the Revered Gland and Dorsalite from the room, then head to the geyser in the area.
16.4 | Take the Glimpse by the wooden rails upon hopping up. Hop down, then head left, and clear the three enemies blocking the path. Take the Bloodseed from the broken carriage, then head down the stairs to find the Sester's Gate Beacon.
16.5 | Cleanse the Sester's Gate beacon to unlock the Corrupted Gate. After this, backtrack, then take the stairs going to the left. Go past the broken walls, then follow the path with 2 Mycellian Skulks and 1 Knight of Mammon blocking you. After beating them, go to the rightmost edge of the cliff and hop down on another path.
16.6 | Go left to the Forgotten Towers , then enter the tomb with a narrow passageway. Find the room with a giant skeletal figure , then traverse to the other side. Open the tower with the panel on the left side of the gate. Defeat the enemy inside to claim the weapon, Axatana . ▶︎ Forgotten Tower 100% Completion Guide
16.7 | Backtrack to the road before reaching the Forgotten Towers. Shoot at the bell above to summon a road leading to the other side. Check out the area to the inner right to find the Revered Beacon dungeon, which has the Cursed Child sidearm! Pulling the lever next to the nearby room will summon an elevator that will take you to the entrance of Sester's Refuge. Pull the lever by the gate at the far end of the area.
16.8 | Follow the road going to the bridge to find a Map of Mammon . Go around the tower to the left and challenge the trials below in Revenant Graves . Keep heading downwards until you find a red marsh surrounded by red figures. Touch the Censer at the very end. Defeat Sester Secundus to claim the Sester's Censer. After exiting, take the geyser via the left path, then take another geyser. Traverse to the other side to find the Abbey Entrance beacon again, then head to the Conqueror's Temple through the Sester's Gate. ▶︎ Jump to the Conqueror's Temple Section ▶︎ Sester's Refuge 100% Completion Guide

### Conqueror's Temple

17.1 | Press onwards to reach the Valley of the Revered . Follow the path going to the right while clearing all enemies along the way. Traverse to the other end of the cliff, and keep following the path. Pick up the Martyr's Ashes along the way.
17.2 | Go left of the tree surrounded by stone bricks to find an area leading to a snowy cavern. Eliminate the enemies in your path, and take the Thawed Gland from the altar at the end of the room. Grab the Dorsalite in the area as well.
17.3 | Keep following the path until you find another room with an altar. Exit the area at the other end of the room, then go down to reach the Winterglass Lake beacon .
17.4 | From the beacon, follow the bridge, then drop down to the right where a bell can be found hanging. Hit this to elevate a pathway on the bridge. Look for a geyser hidden behind a fallen tree branch. Hop on it, then traverse to the other side of the cliff. You can nab the Dorsalite on the path to your left before heading up to the stairs.
17.5 | Turn right and hit the bell by the edge of the cliff. This will complete the broken pathways on the bridge, making the previous beacon more accessible. Backtrack a bit, then push for the middle road. Open the chest next to a stone wall to get a Pulse Stone . Afterwards, go through the left area to fight Urrig, the Executioner , who will drop a Warden's Stone .
17.6 | Hop up in the geyser afterwards. Claim the Tooth of Nochte on a stone slab along the way, then squeeze to the other side of the rubble. Press the switch on the pedestal to activate the lift to reach the Ovate's Chamber beacon. You may speak with the Ruk to learn more of the travesty that lies ahead of the bridge.
17.7 | Face Droeg, the Conquerer. . If you purchased Gragu, he will accompany you in battle. Defeating him will provide you with the Conquerer's Reward . A corrupted beacon should appear afterwards. Cleansing this will reveal the Conquerer's Hoard beacon. ▶︎ Conqueror's Temple 100% Completion Guide

### Deserted Slums

Outskirts of Mammon
18.1 | From the Abandoned Outpost Beacon, which also houses the Big 'ol Hole and rewards the Accursed Stone , ascend the slope and head to the Bone Gate to head to High Lord's Keep. Optionally, you can set the time to night to encounter The Collector near the Beacon. The most notable of his wares are the three Glimpses , a Blackmarrow Key , and some Tarstones !
High Lord's Keep
18.2 | Upon reaching the starting area of High Lord's Keep, a Knight of Mammon is dangerously close to an area that makes you easily fall off. Focus on dodging its roll attack to survive. Keep running up the hill, as trying to fight the Foul Knights will lead to your downfall. Afterwards, you will then be met by a Twisted Visage and some Lithopods before crossing the bridge.
18.3 | Crossing the bridge, the main threat of this area will be the Scythe-wielding enemy. Choose to deal with it at range to avoid getting killed, and then head up the broken-down slope on the right. After that, keep walking straight, then up the stairs. Make a sharp left turn as you reach the fountain, and you should have reached the courtyard. Cleanse the Beacon, then grab the map nearby to get a view of the area.
18.4 | After obtaining the map, you should be free to explore the area on your own to grab upgrade materials and coins. However, we recommend going back to where the fountain was, and then using it to jump. Upon going up, head left and defeat the Foul Knight to obtain some additional materials. After that, head to the area just ahead of the Knight of Mammon, and descend a flight of stairs. From there, proceed to the Royal Crypt of Mammon.
18.5 | Our recommendation here is to head straight in the middle to fight Vellen, High Lord of Mammon . For all intents and purposes of this guide, heading through each of the tombs before reaching him only has gold or upgrade materials. This fight can be made simple by heavily focusing on parrying Vellen's highly telegraphed moves; just do not be greedy. After defeating Vellen, you will be rewarded with one Glimpse and access to Lazlo , another shell!
18.6 | By then, exit the Royal Crypt, then head further down the area until you reach the two Twisted Vestiges. Upon killing them, go towards the gateway, then walk towards the grand lift. Going down, you will see a Bone Gate. Jump through it, then head to the right to access the Gate of Mammon Beacon. Cleanse this beacon and complete the Burrowkin Dwelling to gain the Wretchcaller's Stone . ▶︎ High Lord's Keep 100% Completion Guide
Lonesome Spire
18.7 | Upon resting, head up the stairs on the right, and proceed further to enter the Lonesome Spire. You will be met by a significant number of Brigands, so clear them out first or flee. Before entering the tower itself, you can clear the Spoiled Mortuary to gain some upgrade materials. After that, ascend until you reach the base of the spire.
18.8 | Start clearing out the base of the Lonesome Spire by entering through the doorway on the left before climbing the tower. Take a quick stop at the Sentry's Grave and defeat the Subjugated Guardian to gain the Ballistazooka Head in until you reach a room with three Brigands and a breakable wall, then run to the opening where one Brigand is kicking a chest. Opening said chest will reward you with a Splitting Stone .
18.9 | Break the wooden wall, then head to the left before exiting the room. There should be a bunch of breakable boxes hiding some coin in that area. Afterwards, run in, and it should look like a balcony instead of a room. Upon entering, there will be two ways for you to go. We recommend going right first to come full circle. After reaching the initial area, go up the spire until you reach the top.
18.10 | Talk to the Brigand you encounter here and interact with M, which is an NPC related to Vlas ' questline, so make sure to buy all of their wares before proceeding. Afterwards, keep going until you reach a wooden structure. Hit the breakable door, and grab the Unremarkable Key , which will be used to finish Vlas' quest after getting imprisoned by the Brigands. Instead of using the lift, go back to where step 18.9 ends, then head to the left this time and keep going down. ▶︎ Lonesome Spire 100% Completion Guide
Deserted Slums
18.11 | After heading down, proceed through the dilapidated bridge, then run to the right on the heavily corrupted area. This should have the map of the area, so grab it before going even further. Head for the edge of the cliff on your right, and there should be a Subjugated Sentry. Defeat it, and you should have entered the Deserted Slums.
18.12 | Upon arriving, head down the lift and clear out the bottom area. Enter the Obsidianite Mines , then clear it out by defeating the Prophet of Profane Infinities to obtain the Obsidian Hammer . After that, operate the opposite lift from where you came, then cross the bridge after going left. A small opening should lead into the Collapsed Mine dungeon, which rewards you with a Shattering Stone upon completion.
18.13 | After the Collapsed Mine dungeon, jump up using the Gloom Fountain, and defeat the Brigand Stoner. Head to what seems to be an aqueduct, then break the wooden barricade. Proceed forward until you reach the bottom area of the slums again. Enter through the small opening into a camp, then clear out the Brigands. Cross the bridge afterwards, and keep ascending until you reach the upper portion of the slums. This area is infested with Ravenous Flesh, so be wary of the caskets. By this time, we recommend using the Bone Gate near the bridge to refresh your resources.
18.14 | After jumping and resting, jump back and check out the forge and church, both of which have materials to loot. Afterwards, head right and go through the stone gateway being guarded by a Tarblighted Miner. Keep going forward until you reach the Gate of Mammon Beacon. This time, enter the Nocthean Gate to cleanse the Withered Shoals . ▶︎ Jump to the Withered Shoals Section ▶︎ Deserted Slums 100% Completion Guide

### Withered Shoals

Ossinite Falls
19.1 | Upon entering, fight through the fodder enemies and descend the stairs. Upon reaching the start of the gate, there will be two Bell Snails you need to take care of. Clear them out, then grab the extra Gloom. Afterwards, in front of the large Crow skull, a group of Grisha Hunters and Leechtongues will be fighting. Behind the skull, there is also a Dorsalite. In the center, there will be a Laterite for you to grab. After that, head for the Bone Gate to fight the Strange Grisha , which rewards you with the Strange Remnant upon defeat.
19.2 | After clearing the initial area, ascend the slope. There will be multiple Roaming Heads and Infested Stalkers in this area, so be careful with spacing; utilize ranged attacks! The only notable item here is the Laterite in the middle of a large ribcage, and a Dorsalite on the far right. Afterwards, proceed towards the Ossinite Falls Beacon , which contains the Broodshell Nest !
Nameless Pass
19.3 | After resting, go inside the waterfall first to find a Sheep, which gives another stack of Sheephead Totem and a Torpor Stone . After that, clamber up the fallen stone towards the waterfall. First, head left and fight the Bell Snail to get access to 2 hidden Ventrium. Return, then head right this time, and clear out the two Leechtongues and an Infested Stalkeryou encounter. Onwards, squeeze through the tight opening, then climb up the arm to get 2 Dorsalite. Afterwards, head down to the wrist and drop down; grab the extra Ventrium. Keep going forward after that to reach the Nameless Pass Beacon, which holds the Odious Crevice . Completing this rewards you with the Charged Stone .
Hexapod's Burrow
19.4 | By this time, you can interact with a vestige of Proxima for a helping hand during the Hexapod fight. Keep on ascending the cliff until you reach the end of the arm. However, before fully dropping down, make sure to go inside the hollow portion to obtain the Depleted Gland . Afterwards, take a leap of faith and start the fight against the Hexapod . Again, it is recommended to level up your Harbinger, Shell, Weapons, and Tarstones, as this is a challenging fight that heavily focuses on multi-attacks. After you defeat it, you will be rewarded with the Hexapod Core , which is a Tarstone exclusive for the Axatana , as well as Ovums to siphon. ▶︎ Withered Shoals 100% Completion Guide

### Silent Steps

Silent Steps
20.1 | From the Gate of Infinity Beacon , proceed back down the flight of stairs until you see the Corrupted Statue on your left, and clear it to get the Thief's Stone . Then use the stairs past the statue and traverse through narrow pathways until you reach the Silent Steps Beacon .
20.2 | After activating the beacon, proceed to the Bone Gate nearby to reach the area where you can fight and get Sariel's Shell. You will have to defeat Sariel, The Endless and follow him inside the Chamber of Becoming in order to get his Shell. Once you have obtained Sariel, proceed to the east side of the raised platform and take the flight of stairs going down.
20.3 | Take the Bone Gate at the bottom and clear the enemies and the corruption to get a Revered Gland. Step down the platform and open the chest below while taking care of the enemies nearby. From here, proceed south until you see an area guarded by two Faceless Clerks. Enter the glowing door to reach a segment of the Unfound Path, where you can get another Revered Gland at the end.
20.4 | Exit the Unfound Path, and from here you can either continue forward going back to the Silent Steps Beacon or you can turn back to where you were previously to continue exploring the area. If you decide to continue, go past the stone bridge earlier and then make your way down the slope on the other side to reach the Parasitic Stash dungeon, which you can clear.
20.5 | From the Parasitic Stash dungeon, go back up the slope and turn left toward a group of enemies. Take them down, then jump down the edge to reach a location where multiple Cultists are gathered. Clear all the enemies to open the chest that will grant you the Colossus Stone .
20.6 | Take the Bone Gate in front of the chest you opened, which will take you to the Forbidden Tower . Here, you can interact with the giant statue during night mode to offer three different Glands , granting you the Seedbearer's Scripture and access to the locked tower to get the Axatana if you have not yet.
20.7 | Once you have cleared the area, take a different Bone Gate that leads back to Silent Steps. Clear the enemies on the other side and go down the slope, taking you back near the Parasitic Stash dungeon. Near there is an area you can drop down to reach another Bone Gate.
20.8 | Use the Bone Gate and defeat the enemies on the other side. After clearing them, go past the wooden bridge, which will take you back to Castigator's Keep. Rest at the Beacon, then teleport back to the Vestige of Infinity Beacon you opened earlier and cleanse that Beacon to gain access to the Corrupted Gate. ▶︎ Silent Steps 100% Completion Guide

### Faded Citadel

21.1 | Navigate through the first part of the dungeon while dealing with the Roaming Heads along the way. Continue pushing forward until you reach an area with a Gloom Seeker; lure him out of the range of the blue flame to easily take him down. Afterward, turn around and proceed to the area with multiple flights of stairs first to get an item at the end.
21.2 | Return to where you fought the previous Gloom Seeker and enter the gap between the walls past that. Similar to the previous encounter, the trick to dealing with the enemies on the other side is to lure them out of the range of the blue flame instead of trying to destroy it. Continue making your way up until you reach the Anointed Confessor at the top of the stairs.
21.3 | After taking down the Anointed Confessor, drop down the ledge to your right and continue down the path. Near the Infested Stalker beside the active blue flame, there is another ledge you can drop down and traverse to reach the Citadel Annex Beacon.
21.4 | After activating the Citadel Annex Beacon and cleansing it, return to the previous area where you can drop down to get the Faded Gland and a handful of items you can sell for coins. Just be wary as there will be multiple Gloom Seekers that you need to deal with. Once you have obtained all the items, take the launch pad going back to the previous Beacon.
21.5 | Take the flight of stairs beside the Beacon to proceed to the next area. Clear the enemies you encounter and keep going further inside the citadel until you reach Solnir, the Gloom Seeker . Take out both blue flames on each side, then deal with the boss afterward. After taking him down, take the elevator behind him to reach the upper floor of the area.
21.6 | Go through the upper floor until you reach the Bone Gate at the end. Take it to reach the other side. Proceed further until you see a small opening to your right. Pass through there while dealing with the enemies to reach the other side with the Citadel Atrium Beacon.
21.7 | Once you have activated and cleansed the Citadel Atrium Beacon , the only thing remaining in this gate is to deal with Sir Isaac, the Scholar-Prince . He is a very agile opponent, so your parry timing will be tested in this encounter. Once you have defeated him, the gate's last Beacon will appear and can be cleansed. ▶︎ Faded Citadel 100% Completion Guide

### Unfound Path

22.1 | After obtaining 168 Ova, you will gain access to the Unfound Path as soon as you return from Marrow Keep. Drop down to the bottom of the pit in the middle of Marrow Keep to reach this final area. Once you are at the bottom, take the Bone Gate at the end.
22.2 | Take care of the enemies on the other side and gather the materials nearby before taking the next Bone Gate. After you teleport via the Bone Gate, go to your left to open the Chamber of the Forsaken Beacon inside the cave. From here, your main goal is to defeat all three bosses found in the Unfound Path : The Monolith, The Malborn Offspring, and Orrem, Discarded Golem, to sever their hold on the corruption. You can take care of them in any order that you want, but we recommend dealing with the one furthest away first , which is The Monolith, then The Malborn Offspring, and lastly Orrem, Discarded Golem.
22.3 | From the Chamber of the Forsaken, exit left, which will take you to a ledge you can traverse. Go to the right, ignoring the Bone Gate nearby. Continue through the path until you reach another Bone Gate at the end.
22.4 | Take the Bone Gate, then head deeper into the area. Go up the stairs and you will reach the Brother's Court Beacon to your right.
22.5 | After activating and cleansing the Brether's Court Beacon , go to the right side of the court to open a chest, then head toward the left side of the locked gate and press the lever there to open it.
22.6 | Enter the gate, then after dealing with the enemies inside, take the stairs on the left and ride the lift to go up to the upper floor. There are two open areas you can clear to get items, so make sure to explore this area before going down the ladder at the end of the hallway.
22.7 | Go down the stairs and then turn left. Drop down to the lowest level first to activate the Obsidian Vault Beacon before clearing the surrounding areas and getting all the materials nearby.
22.8 | Proceed further into the area and you will encounter the Monolith shortly. The Monolith is a huge and agile enemy and the area where you face it is small, so prepare to be cornered and react accordingly. After taking down the boss, you will be teleported back to the center of the Unfound Path.
22.9 | From the center, proceed back to the cave on your left, then take the Bone Gate that you skipped last time. This will take you in front of the Receiving Hall Beacon , which you can activate and cleanse.
22.10 | From here, your goal is go up the flight of stairs while dealing with the numerous Anointed Confessors, Enslaved Disciples, and Necrites. Once you reach the top you can activate the Faithful's Shelter Beacon then take on the Malborn Offspring boss. This enemy will hit hard multiple times and he has a second phase where you have to react even faster. After taking him down, exit the boss arena to sever the corruption outside and get teleported to the center of the Unfound Path again.
22.11 | The last area you want to visit is the one on the right. Drop down the ledge until you reach a Bone Gate by the edge of the cliff. Take it and proceed deeper into the area. The path is short but you will be going against three Annointed Confessors near to each other. After dispatching them, take the stairs to the upper floor and you reach the Bridge of Procession Beacon .
22.12 | Just past the Bridge of Procession is Orrem, Discarded Golem . He acts similar to the Tar Golem at the beginning, but has another phase where his movements will mimic a scorpion. After dealing with him, the platform will rise and take you to the Empty Cradle Beacon . Just past that you can sever the last corruption, opening The Hidden Nave Beacon, which you need to cleanse to get to the final boss.
22.13 | To cleanse The Hidden Nave , you will have to use the torch found in the first section of the area to reveal a hidden path that leads deeper into the cave. At the end, you will find numerous chests that you can open to get Gloom. You can farm Gloom here by opening the chests, then exiting to the main menu. This will place you outside of the Beacon while keeping all your Gloom, which you can use to level up. After you are done farming, head to the door at the end of the Beacon and offer any amount of Gloom you have. This will give you access to the last boss, Zmey, the Unbidden .
22.14 | The final boss does not have a complicated moveset, but he has the most health out of all the bosses in the game. He also has a mechanic that will afflict you with Cosmic Disease , preventing you from using your Shells and Tarstones. To deal with this, you need to get the Seedbearer's Scripture, which can cure Cosmic Disease and stagger Zmey at the same time. After defeating him, you will be teleported out of the Unfound Path, where you can siphon Ova one last time to enter NG+ . ▶︎ Unfound Path 100% Completion Guide

## General Progression Tips

Prioritize Points of Interests Cleanse Beacons ASAP Consistently Upgrade Gear and Shells Check NPCs Regularly After Bosses Remember to Rest

### Prioritize Points of Interests

Go to the points of interest (POIs) that Marrek will mark on your map. These POIs will not progress the story to the point where you will miss anything, but you will gain considerable upgrades such as new Shells and Weapons you can use to make progression much more suited to your playstyle!

### Cleanse Beacons ASAP

When you see a Beacon , immediately activate and cleanse it. These beacons not only act as your respawn and fast-travel point, but they also contain a variety of items that will help your progression out.
Additionally, you can also gain Ovums within these beacons, which allow you to gain Gloom back in Marrow's Keep when interacting with the Gloom Siphon.

### Consistently Upgrade Gear and Shells

Speaking of Gloom, always make sure you consume them by upgrading either your Weapons, Sidearms, or Harbinger . Doing so should allow you to better clear enemies and progress more easily. To get these materials, complete every trial and dungeon you come across!
Furthermore, use Revered Gland and Synaptic Vessels as soon as you get them to improve the efficiency and efficacy of your healing.

### Check NPCs Regularly After Bosses

As a general rule in soulslike games, always remember to check up on NPCs you have encountered after every checkpoint, such as bosses and corrupted gates , and exhaust their dialogue until they actively repeat a few words of dialogue .
This method makes sure that every questline will be active, barring you from getting locked out of most content.

### Remember to Rest

Lastly, most players forget this, but do not be foolhardy and continue after activating a Beacon. Make sure to rest to restore your resources! For example, it is an annoying situation when you progress far but make a gruelling mistake due to a lack of healing, only to then get sent back far off the activated beacon.

## How Does Progression Work?

### Linear Free Roam

Mortal Shell 2 supports an open-world system with fast-travel mechanics, giving player agencies to free-roam , explore areas, and obtain upgrades of their own volition. Even so, this system generally guides players to where they need to finish points of interest such as bosses and area cutscenes, serving as the transition to different stages.
